State Police Confirm Double-Fatal Crash On NJ Turnpike UPDATED: State troopers are investigating the deaths of two passengers in a multi-vehicle crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Mercer County. The crash occurred at 11:53 p.m. on Thursday on the NJ Turnpike, northbound inner roadway in East Windsor Township, according to Sgt. Lawrence Peele, a spokesman with the New Jersey State Police. Preliminary information indicates that in the area of milepost 66.8, a Lincoln Town Car was involved in a crash and was disabled in the roadway, Peele said.
