Atlantic City's popular air show has been saved for 2024 but questions about the event's future are flying above its head. In a news conference on Wednesday, Mar. 20, Mayor Marty Small Sr. officially announced the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA) will provide $300,000 to fund the 2024 Visit Atlantic City Airshow. Three counties in South Jersey rank among the top 12 counties statewide in confirmed coronavirus cases, according to New Jersey Health Department statistics. As of Tuesday, Jan. 2, Camden County ranked sixth statewide. Burlington County ranked 10th and Mercer County ranked 12th.
