Sipos Bakery, in Perth Amboy, announced on Facebook that its last day in business would be Sunday, June 4. A popular diner in South Jersey has closed after 58 years in business. Last Sunday, April 30 was the last day of operations for the Cherry Hill Diner on Route 38. An employee made the announcement in a Facebook group: "Myself and the staff of Cherry hill diner would like to thank you all for your patronage over the years," she wrote. A popular pretzel and water ice shop has closed after a half-century in business in South Jersey. South Jersey Pretzel & Water Ice announced it was closing on Facebook. “Thank you for over 50 years of support while we made the best soft pretzels and water ice anywhere.
