Bloodied Suspect Struck Grandmother With Weight Or Statue, Prosecutor Says The suspect in the killing of his grandmother allegedly struck her with a heavy object, authorities said. Cyril Lloyd, 26, of Carteret. was charged with murdering the 77-year-old woman, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office. A five-pound weight and a statue, both with blood on them, were found at the crime scene, said Brynn Krause, a spokeswoman for the prosecutor.
