Tractor-Trailer Flips On New Jersey Turnpike (

A driver escaped serious injury when his tractor-trailer overturned on the New Jersey Turnpike in Camden County, authorities said. The crash occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 24 on the turnpike southbound near milepost 27 in Barrington, according to New Jersey State Police spokesman Troy McNair. The driver lost control of his tractor-trailer, ran off the roadway to the right and overturned, McNair said. The driver sustained minor injuries, he said. One right lane of two lanes was blocked, 511nj.org reported. The crash remains under investigation.

Juvenile Charged In Fatal Shooting In South Jersey: Prosecutor
A juvenile has been charged in the fatal shooting of a Gloucester County resident, authorities said. Two other people were charged with related crimes, they said. On Saturday, Dec. 2, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Woodbury City police were dispatched to Wing-Dickerson Park, at 36 Carpenter St., for the report of a shooting. A new popular Chick-fil-A eatery is opening in Old Bridge next month. The chain announced its newest fast-food joint will open on Sept. 10 at 770 Texas Road. Located near The Shoppes at Old Bridge off Route 9, the restaurant has posted job openings on its Facebook page. “I’m gonna run you all over with my SUV if I see anyone getting tested,” a South Jersey man posted on Facebook after learning that a local Rite Aid opened a free drive-thru coronavirus testing site, authorities said. Rite-Aid stores in Bergen and Rockland counties opened coronavirus self-swab testing sites in their parking lots this weekend, with more coming this week in New York and New Jersey.
