Pair Arrested In Atlantic City Drug Deal, Gun Recovered: Police A pair of South Jersey men were arrested during an alleged drug deal in Atlantic City, authorities said. On Tuesday, Jan. 9, at about noon, Atlantic City Detectives Alberto Valles, Eric Evans, and Troy Grams observed a parked vehicle with two occupants.  The driver, Najee Roberts, 33, of Ewing, Mercer County, allegedly engaged in a drug deal with a man who approached the vehicle on foot, police said. Atlantic City Man Sentenced For Illegal Possession Of Handgun: Prosecutor An Atlantic City man has been sentenced to five years in New Jersey State Prison for unlawful possession of a handgun, authorities said. John Stevens, 21, was sentenced on Thursday, July 13, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. Stevens must serve three and one-half years before being eligible for parole, the prosecutor said. The sentence is to run concurrent to a three-and-one-half-year sentence Stevens received in March of this year, also for unlawfully possessing a handgun, the prosecutor said.
