$25K A Year For Life: West Springfield Man Wins Lottery Jackpot That Keeps Giving A Western Mass Man recently won a lottery jackpot that will pay him off for the rest of his life.  Jacky Huang, of West Springfield, won the $25,000 a year for life prize as part of the multi-state Lucky for Life game. He matched all five numbers in the June 10 drawing.  He said he played his family members' birthdays for the numbers.  Huang chose to take the annuity payments of $25,000 (before taxes) that will run for the rest of his life, the Massachusetts State Lottery said.  He plans to put the money toward his sister's college tuition.  He bought the ticket …

Man's Body Pulled From West Springfield River Police in Hampden County are investigating after they pulled the body of a man from a river in West Springfield earlier this week.  West Springfield police were alerted to a body around 2 p.m. on Friday, June 21, in the Westfield River. He was found in the area of Front Street near the fish ladder, police said in a Facebook post.  The man was dead when police arrived. Authorities have not released his name.  West Springfield police are investigating the incident, but officers do not believe foul play was involved.
