Best High Schools: Mercer County Well-Represented In New National Rankings

Mercer County is well-represented in brand-new rankings of the nation's best high schools.

US News & World report released its annual list on Tuesday, April 23.

The rankings were determined by performance on state-required tests, graduation, and how well they prepare students for college.

Two New Jersey schools made the top 50 in the U.S: High Technology High School in Lincroft at No. 24, and Edison Academy Magnet School at No. 42.

According to US News & World Report, the top 10 best high schools in Mercer County are:

  • 1. West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South
  • 2. Princeton High School
  • 3. Robbinsville High School
  • 4. Hopewell Valley Central High School, Pennington
  • 5. Lawrence High School, Lawrenceville
  • 6. Hightstown High School
  • 7. Mercer County Technical School Stem Academy in Trenton
  • 8. Mercer County Technical School Health Sciences Academy in Trenton
  • 9. Hamilton East - Steinert
  • 10. Hamilton North-Nottingham
