! Missing At-Risk Rutherford Man Wanders 45 Miles To Westchester
Authorities found a missing at-risk Rutherford man early Monday in Port Chester, 45 miles from home. John Willey, 60, apparently was intent on visiting a friend in White Plains when he walked off from his West Passaic Avenue home around 5:30 p.m. Saturday without his cellphone, police said. A New York Metropolitan Transit Authority worker found him near a bridge in the Westchester village at 7:45 a.m. Monday, roughly 38 hours later after he went missing, Rutherford Police Capt. Patrick Feliciano said. "The MTA worker called 911 because Willey was described as being disoriented and sta…

DMX In Prison: First Photos Released Show Rapper Flabbier, Grayer
One of the first photos released of Westchester rapper DMX from prison shows him heavier and grayer -- which some fans believe may be a good sign. The once-muscular Earl Simmons has a pot belly and gray hair in the photo published by The Jasmine Brand. Some fans say the additional weight could simply come from no longer using cocaine and crack. Simmons was sentenced in March to a year in federal prison after pleading guilty last year in U.S. District Court in Manhattan to ducking $1.7 million in taxes. The judge at the time called Simmons "a good man" who deserved less than the…

Paramus Buy Buy Baby Donates Car Seat To Toddler With Heart Defect
MaryAnn LaBarbiera of Paramus was fully prepared last month to host an ailing Filipino baby and his mother. Or so she thought. The very day baby Lucas and his mom Ana Mallaria were arriving in the U.S. for life changing heart surgery, however, Paramus Police Sergeant Brian Linden spotted a problem. The car seat. It was outdated. Unsafe. Downright dangerous. Linden wanted to be sure that almost-2-year-old Lucas -- who was being sponsored by the Paramus Rotary Club through the Gift of Life program -- would be as safe as possible during his three-week stay in the U.S. That meant a safe car…
