New Grocery Store Coming To Downtown Hackensack
Hackensack is getting a new grocery store. Maharaja Hypermarket signed a lease in a 3,500-square-foot space on Main Street. The full-service grocery store will be located at the ground floor of Crossroads 389, located at 389 Main St. The five-story, 119,000-square-foot mixed-use building opened earlier this year. State Asks Judge To Stop Purported Animal Charity Run By Wyckoff Woman That Raised Millions
A Wyckoff woman raised millions of dollars by falsely claiming an organization she founded that places rescue dogs as service animals is a charity, said state authorities who’ve gone to court to shut her down. Janice Wolfe has “unlawfully raised millions of dollars since 2008 without registering Merlin’s Kids as a charitable organization,” state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal said Friday. The last thing Denise Hamilton was expecting to see hanging on the wall at Bergen Town Center was a photo of herself. The Hackensack native was on a routine errand run to Whole Foods Wednesday when she saw the black and white image hanging in the Marshall's corridor, her younger self standing tall in the middle.
