Clifton Police Officer Joseph Pichnarcik Dies, 45
The Clifton Police Department is mourning the passing of one of its own, Officer Joseph A. Pichnarcik.
Pichnarcik died on Wednesday, Nov. 6, following a brave fight against a long-term illness, according to his department and his obituary on the Allwood Funeral Home website.
Officer Pichnarcik, who served the Clifton community with pride and commitment since joining in 2006, was known for his warm spirit, reliability, and the unwavering support he offered his fellow officers.
Before his tenure in Clifton, Officer Pichnarcik served with the Paterson Police Department.

Marco M. Giasullo, 31, Scotch Plains Native Who Loved Golf, Playing Guitar
Funeral services are planned later this week for Marco M. Giasullo, who died suddenly on June 8.
A Dover resident, Marco grew up in Scotch Plains and was a graduate of Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, where he was a pitcher for the varsity baseball team. After earning an economics degree from the University of Rhode Island he worked in the banking industry in Rhode Island and in New Jersey.
An avid fan of the New York Yankees, Marco also loved to play golf. He played guitar and loved to mix music on his computer.

Arrangements Set For Daniel Neczepir, 34, Detective With Essex County Prosecutor’s Office
Daniel J. Neczepir, 34, of Bloomfield, died June 2.
Born in Paterson, he grew up in Clifton before moving to Bloomfield. He worked as a detective for the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and was the delegate and sergeant-at-arms for the Essex County PBA.
He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Anne of Clifton; his sister Diana Lake and her husband Patrick, also of Clifton; and his fiancee, Brianna D’Errico.
