Traffic and pedestrian traffic was stopped over the Grayson Place Bridge near Palisade Avenue after the woman was spotted outside the protective fence around 7:15 p.m. Saturday, April 9. The woman apparently was waiting for a train before jumping, one responder said. NJ Transit: Woman Struck, Killed By Commuter Train In Glen Rock UPDATE: NJ Transit confirmed that a woman was struck and killed by a commuter train Wednesday morning in Glen Rock. The woman, who appeared to be in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck near the Harristown Road grade crossing shortly before 10:30 a.m., responders said.
