Man Found Seven Miles From Home After Six-Day Search In Central Jersey
A 29-year-old man was found unharmed six days after walking away from his Central Jersey home. Jonathan Misak walked nearly seven miles — or more to Old Bridge — where he was found safe on Saturday, Oct. 1, authorities in Middlesex County announced. Bomb Threat Unfounded At NJ ShopRite
A bomb threat made at New Jersey ShopRite Wednesday, July 20 was unfounded, authorities said. Officers were called to the supermarket on Elizabeth Avenue in Somerset just before 1 p.m., Franklin Township police said. A K-9 officer from the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office also responded to the store to help with the search, and no suspicious packages or items were discovered. A knife-wielding man was shot and killed by law enforcement officers at a Plainsboro housing complex, state authorities said. The shooting occurred on Ravens Crest Drive at the Crest at Princeton Meadows Apartment Complex off Plainsboro Road between Routes 1 and 130 during what witnesses said began as the serving of an eviction notice around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16. : Rockaway Man With 3 Warrants Nabbed After Denville Train Station Fight
A Rockaway man with three outstanding warrants was arrested after getting into an argument at the Denville train station, said authorities who charged him. James Souto, 38, was denied a ride home from another commuter when the fight broke out around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, Denville Police Capt. Jeffrey Tucker said. Souto's three warrants were out of Cliffside Park, New Brunswick and the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office, Tucker said. He was taken to Denville police headquarters for processing before being turned over to the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office.
