Winter Storm Expected To Drop Snow, Freezing Rain On Region Another winter storm is heading to the region ahead of Martin Luther King Day, forecasters say. Ice, Ice, Baby: Flash Freeze, More Winter Fun Headed To North Jersey Ice and cold, gusty winds. That's what much of the East Coast can look forward to Sunday and Monday, meteorologists are saying.  A flash flood watch is in effect until 1 p.m. Sunday in Bergen and Passaic counties before temperatures nosedive to the mid-20s by late afternoon.  Gusty winds of up to 30 mph, along with possible snow, and ice accumulation may bring down tree limbs and power lines, leading to widespread outages.
