Philadelphia Worker ID'd As Victim Killed In Sea Isle City Balcony Collapse A 43-year-old construction worker from Philadelphia has been identified as the victim crushed to death by a balcony that collapsed at a Sea Isle City high-rise Friday, Feb. 24, authorities said. Jose Pereira was on the 7th floor balcony of the Spinnaker South Tower when the balcony above him collapsed, crushing him around 2:20 p.m., Sea Isle City Police Chief Anthony J. Garreffi Jr. said. Pereira's body was pinned under the 30-foot concrete slab for several hours before responders could cut through approximately 12 inches of reinforced concrete, Garreffi said. 20-Year-Old Man Killed Walking On Garden State Parkway A 20-year-old man was struck and killed by a Jeep while he was walking on the Garden State Parkway early Saturday, Aug. 27, authorities said. Zachary Fulmer, of Marmora, was heading south in the northbound lanes when he was hit near milepost 28.5, in Somers Point around 2:43 a.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota said. It wasn't clear if the driver remained at the scene. Fulmer was pronounced dead.

Police were first tipped off to the alleged crimes through social media posts, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief Paul Skill of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office. Arrested was Jonathan C. Howell of Marmora, they said. These NJ ShopRite Stores Imposing Customer Limit Amid Coronavirus Spread More than two dozen New Jersey ShopRite stores have implemented customer limits in an effort to stop the spread of coronavirus. The maximum number of customers will be roughly 30 percent of the store’s regular maximum occupancy, ShopRite said in a statement. A security guard will be stationed at entrances and exits to track the number of customers coming in and out. Only one entrance per store will remain open.
