Emotionally Disturbed Man Taken To Hospital After Incident In Washington Township An emotionally disturbed man was transported to a hospital for an evaluation after police were called to a disturbance in Washington Township, responders said.  Township police were joined at a Linwood Avenue home by their colleagues from Westwood and Ridgewood, as well as Bergen County sheriff's officers, among others. Reports that the man was armed with a knife couldn't immediately be confirmed. An ambulance with two officers aboard took him to New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, responders said. Feds Fine Cresskill Landscaper $17K After Carbon Monoxide Kills 2 Workers A Cresskill landscaper was fined more than $17,000 by the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration for exposing employees to carbon monoxide -- killing two of them. Police found two AJR Landscaping Inc. workers overcome by fumes from a running lawnmower with them in a closed trailer in Washington Township around 8 a.m. last December.
