Taylor M. Cerza, a Warren Hills High School graduate who lived in Hampton, died suddenly on Friday, Aug. 16 in Oxford, according to her obituary on the Warren Hills Memorial Home website. She was 27 years old. A Great Meadows native, Taylor worked as a direct support professional for Abilities of NW Jersey and was a loving mother to her two kids, Layla Knoop and Frankie Lee Golovko, her obituary says. A Warren County woman contacted her boyfriend after she slammed into a tree, prompting him to arrive at the scene and remove the license plates from the vehicle before fleeing, authorities charged. Amber R. Sagan, 21, of Great Meadows, crossed the center line when driving on Jackson Valley Road and slammed into a tree on Saturday, August 2, Mansfield Township police said in a release. Warren County Mechanic Hospitalized After Tire Explodes In His Face
A Warren County mechanic was hospitalized after a tire exploded in his face, State Police said. The 59-year-old mechanic was transported to Morristown Medical Center with facial injuries after a tire accidentally blew up on him around 2:10 Saturday afternoon, at Pryslak Sod Farms, in Great Meadows, Trooper Alejandro Goez said. The mechanic was "conscious and talking" following the Shades of Death Road incident, which was deemed accidental and non-suspicious, Goez said. The cause was not immediately known, Goez said.
