The 76-year-old father who helped launch the 9/11 compensation fund, his son's namesake, was struck and killed by an SUV this weekend, Daily Voice has learned. Joseph C. Zadroga, of Little Egg Harbor, was standing just outside of his parked vehicle when an 82-yer-old driver from Absecon struck him while pulling into a parking spot around 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Bacharach Rehabilitation at 61 W. UPDATE: A South Jersey man who paid $20,000 in bitcoin to have a 13-year-boy killed after they exchanged sexually explicit images was sentenced to six years in a federal penitentiary. John Michael Musbach, 34, of Haddonfield, must serve out just about all of the plea-bargained term because there's no parole in the federal prison system. A U.S. Marine from South Jersey is credited with helping to rescue a Japanese teen severely hurt while snowboarding, authorities said. Sgt. Tyler Rallo of Galloway was taking a break from military training with Sergeants Ryan Cartwright and Scott Dike when the accident occurred, according to the Marine Corps. A 37-year-old man wanted on a warrant was arrested on the Jersey Shore on multiple drug charges involving methamphetamine and heroin, authorities said. A burglar died after he became trapped inside of an exhaust fan at a New Jersey Italian restaurant Monday, authorities said. The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. at Two Brother's From Italy on W. White Horse Pike, police in Galloway said. Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Atlantic County Crash
A motorcyclist was killed in a weekend crash on the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, authorities said. Joseph Seif III was heading east when he veered off the road near the Elmwood Avenue intersection Saturday around 2:35 p.m., Egg Harbor Township police said. Seif, of Galloway, struck a curb and overturned several times -- the motorcycle landing in the grass median. Seif was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A GoFundMe account for the father of four had raised $4,400 as of Monday. The account was launched by his son.

'My 600-Lb Life' Star From NJ Dead At 30
A 30-year-old New Jersey woman who rose to fame on popular TLC show "My 600-lb Life" has died. Gina Marie Krasley, of Tuckerton, died at home on Aug. 1 surrounded by family, her obituary says. A Galloway native, Krasley loved to dance and had a passion for inspiring others on TikTok -- proving "dancing has no size limit," her obit reads. She hoped to one day open a dance studio for children with special needs. Services will be held on Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Maxwell Funeral Home in Little Egg Harbor.

Human remains were found earlier this week in a wooded area in South Jersey, authorities said. A nearby resident stumbled upon the skeletal remains believed to be of a male, in the woods, according to Galloway police. More than two dozen New Jersey ShopRite stores have implemented customer limits in an effort to stop the spread of coronavirus.
