Newton Police Help Bust Arkansas Man Who Scammed More Than $100K From Local, National Victims
Newton police played a major role in the investigation that led to the arrest of an Arkansas man who scammed more than $100,000 from at least seven victims nationwide — including one woman in Sussex County. Police in Newton received a report that a local woman had been contacted by a man who said that he was in possession of all of her personal and financial information on Thursday, August 6, authorities said in a release. Feds: Jersey Shore Man Busted With Child Porn Collection
Federal Homeland Security agents on Wednesday arrested a Jersey Shore man who they said collected child pornography. Agents began investigating Joseph J. Punderson, 31, of Island Heights after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said. An Elizabeth man admitted trafficking nearly a pound of fentanyl as part of a criminal enterprise that federal authorities said moved the deadly drug by the kilo. A Clark man is in custody after he called authorities to his home, where they found a cache of weapons and bomb-making materials, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said Tuesday. Robert J.
