Former NJ Athlete ID'd As Victim Killed In MD Crash, Girlfriend Airlifted
The 18-year-old man killed in a crash on I-95 in Maryland over the weekend has been identified as a former New Jersey high school athlete. Gage Myers played basketball and baseball for Gloucester City High School, records show. He graduated in 2023. "Gage was a wonderful young man with a kind heart and handsome, infectious smile," the school said, sharing a memorial GoFundMe. The school also said that 2022 graduate Rylee McNee, was the 19-year-old passenger airlifted in the crash. Authorities were trying to determine who was responsible when an SUV struck and killed a 63-year-old Cliffside Park woman as she crossed a busy highway in Delaware over the Labor Day weekend.
