White bucket at Franklin Lakes recycling plant draws hazmat response

ONLY ON CVP: An unknown substance in a white bucket left next to a bin at the Franklin Lakes Recycling Center drew responders from various agencies today.

The DeKorte Drive area was closed to public access while the substance was investigated. No injuries were immediately reported.

Responders included Franklin Lakes police, firefighters and EMS, the Mahwah Fire Co. #2 Hazmat Team and the Bergen County Hazardous Materials Unit.
