Uncleared car roof snow leads to heroin charges in Wyckoff against Mahwah woman, 54

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 54-year-old Mahwah woman stopped by Wyckoff police for having a large amount of snow on the roof of her her car was arrested on drug charges after the officer reported finding her carrying heroin and prescription medications.

Officer Kyle Ferreira stopped Linda S. Leuck on Godwin Avenue around 1:30 yesterday afternoon after spotting the snow, as well as illegally tinted front windows, Police Chief Benjamin Fox said this afternoon.

Ferreira took her into custody on heroin, prescription and drug paraphernalia possession charges, while issuing her summonses for failing to clear the snow and having both drugs in the car and tinted windows, the chief said.

Leuck — also known as Linda Manno — was released pending a Municipal Court date, Fox said.
