Tractor-Trailer Driver Injured When Rig Tips On Route 17 Flyover In Mahwah

MAHWAH, N.J. -- A tractor-trailer driver toting Coca-Cola products was hospitalized with minor injuries Friday afternoon after his rig tipped at the Route 17 flyover in Mahwah.

The crash caused significant delays.

"Nothing spilled," Police Chief James Batelli told Daily Voice.

Police officers who were first on the scene began trying to free the driver after the crash, which didn't involve any other vehicles and caused significant traffic delays on Route 17 and nearby Route 287.
