The accident near the Sheraton Crossroads at 1 International Way brought police, fire, EMS and a tow truck to the scene just after 5:30.

Lisa Siciliano, 46, of Mahwah was exiting the parking garage, driving from the 3rd level to the 2nd, when her 20012 Honda CRV hit a concrete pillar and then headed straight through the cable safety rails, Police Lt. Jeffrey Dino said.

The vehicle was suspended by the safety cable outside the garage when the emergency workers converged on the scene, the lieutenant said.

Firefighters secured the car with chains and cables as Siciliano was removed, he said.

She “was not injured and declined medical attention,” Dino said.

Firefighters pulled the car back up to the second parking deck level, where a waiting tow truck took it away.
