The call came in around 11 p.m., Bergen County Police Lt. James Mullin told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning.

“Be at the ready,” the caller said and hung up.

The call was made from the Englewood area on a phone that came back to a woman at an address in Union City that police there said doesn’t exist, Mullin said.

“It sounds like some kind of sick joke,” Mullin said, “but we didn’t take any chances and notified all area police departments.”
