Among the attractions lining Boulevard East, McDonalds had a memorabilia truck of items from past Latin Grammys, including outfits and shoes worn by winners from the past 10 years.
“They have outfits worn by Thalia (Tommy Mottola’s wife), Celia Cruz, Pepe Aguilar among others,” Isel said. “They also have shoes worn by different Latin stars, CD’s, stage ID’s and others. They’re showing videos of the stars wearing those outfits/shoes….Everyone seems to be enjoying this thoroughly.”
“As we celebrate a decade of history, we are thrilled to continue to bring the excitement of the Latin GRAMMY to local communities across the country and celebrate the road to Latin music’s night of excellence,” said Gabriel Abaroa, President of The Latin Recording Academy.
“These festivals, through the power of music, allow us to create a bond between music lovers and the Latin GRAMMYs and we look forward to another successful festival season.”
