“It’s a substantial amount of heroin,” the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.

One arrest came after a 24-year-old Syracuse man jumped a turnstile at Newark’s Penn Station last night, Pentangelo said.

As he was being taken into custody, Lamar Fitch “threw a small package on the floor which was found to contain 50 decks,” Pentangelo said.

They were stamped “Time Out.”

Police also found Fitch carrying a small bag of marijuana and a syringe, he said.

He was charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia and theft of services.

On the other side of the river, PAPD officers said they took a 17-year-old Bronx boy seen loitering at the authority’s midtown Manhattan bus terminal into custody after he couldn’t produce identification.

Pentangelo said they were escorting the teen to the Youth Services Office when he suddenly jumped over a desk, shouting: “I’m not doing time. F–k y’all.”

After restraining him, officers patted down the teen and found nine grams of cocaine in his left pants pocket and a bag containing four baggies of marijuana and 444 decks of heroin (photo above), Pentangelo said.

Identified as Naheem Glenn, he was charged with various drug possession counts.
