James Hicks-Johnson, 30, of Queens put the British Airways-owned motors in his company vehicle and then drove off from Terminal 7, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.

PAPD officers were waiting when he returned, Pentangelo said.

During questioning, he “alluded to the fact that he intended to sell the engines for scrap metal,” he said.

Johnson was charged with two counts each of grand larceny and possession of stolen property.
