This time, 32-year-old Alex Beltransaracay had an accomplice, they said.

Beltransaracay was out on bail after Paramus police arrested him Dec. 2 for snatching packages from porches in Ramsey when an alert went out last night about simlar crimes (SEE: Paramus police captain nabs man who stole packages from Ramsey residents’ porches, authorities say).

This time, Paramus Anti-Crime Unit members Detective Glen Pagano and Officer Paul Siemon stopped Beltransaracay’s 2004 BMW X5 on southbound Route 17 near the Garden State Parkway, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said.

“When the officers approached the vehicle they observed numerous packages in the passenger compartment of the car that had been stolen from several Ramsey homes,” the chief said this afternoon.

With him was 27-year-old Glennys Cuevas Lorenzo, also of Newark.

Beltransaracay remained held on a combined $30,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail.

Cuevaslorenzo posted $10,000 bail earlier today and was released.

Both are charged with possession of stolen property.
