New York State Police: Search Continuing For Missing Mahwah Hunter

MAHWAH, N.J. -- A 67-year-old hunter from Mahwah remained missing Tuesday, three days after he left his upstate New York cabin to go hunting, State Police there reported.

John D. Bourgholtzer left camp in the Delaware County town of Harpersfield around 8 a.m. Saturday "to go hunting by himself," the NYSP said in a release.

He may have been driving his 2011 Ford Focus with New Jersey license plates KDN45E, State Police said.

Bourgholtzer was described as 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes.

Harpersfield is about 130 miles from Mahwah.
