MAHWAH, N.J. – Robert A. Duffy, a resident of Mahwah, died Satuday, April 9. He was 56.
Born in Ridgefield, he lived in Waldwick before moving to Mahwah in 1989.
He was a regional brokerage consultant for fidelity investments, where he worked for the last 17 years. He was a graduate of Don Bosco High School, Ramsey and Rutgers University, Newark. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth’s RC Church, Wyckoff.
He is survived by his children Gavin, Maxwell and Campbell Duffy all of Mahwah; his sisters, Debra Duffy of Butler and Donna Anderson of McKinny; his mother, Lona Duffy of Waldwick; along with Kathleen Duffy; his companion Kim Grieg; several nieces and nephews and other family members.
He was predeceased by his father Robert T. Duffy.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth’s R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference, 600 Ramapo Valley Rd., Mahwah, NJ 07430 would be appreciated.
