The rescue company was previously using a 1999 Ford pickup.
Here are a few of the new truck's bells and whistles: front and rear scene lights; backup, bed and front cameras; an onboard air compressor; front and rear winches; and slide-out compartment trays.
The truck designed for rapid response, and will serve many function, including towing heavy equipment like the department's air boat and scuba teams.
"All of this equipment is useless without the dedication and devotion of our volunteer firefighters," Mayor Bill Laforet said in a recent Facebook post. "We are very fortunate to have one of the best equipped, rapid response fire departments in the state."
Laforet also noted that the rescue squad is part of the larger mutual aid organization in the area -- "any fire, any time, no matter how big or small, these volunteers respond in minutes."
