Dear Residents,

As you may be aware, the FAA recently changed the flight path for inbound planes heading to Teterboro Airport. This new path generally follows Route 17 and crosses directly over Ramsey. It will be utilized primarily on days with clear visibility.

The new path is currently in a testing phase, which is expected to last approximately six months after which it may become permanent.

We posted a link on the Borough's website where you can register a noise complaint  with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey

We also posted a link which allows you to view area flights in real time  with Teterboro inbound flights highlighted in light blue

We are concerned about the potential impact this new flight path may have on our quality of life, and urge you to register noise complaints using this form. In addition, we are working with officials in other towns to address this situation, and will keep you apprised as developments occur.

I am attending a meeting of the Teterboro Aircraft Noise Abatement Advisory Committee (TANAAC) later this month. The Federal Aviation Administration will be making a presentation regarding the new flight path at the TANAAC meeting.

Please feel free to share this information with your neighbors.

Thank you.
