"There are times when we all just need to do a little more to help others," Secret Santa told Daily Voice. "It's the time of year you want to start thinking of others who are less fortunate."

Saddle River's Prominent Properties by Sotheby's have been collecting food for the CFA since 2012. The opportunity was made possible by Vice President Dan Wexildorfer and CEO Charles Oppler.

Members of the middle class were once donating to CFA, but are now the ones benefitting from its services, the anonymous donor said.

"There is no political divide when it comes to helping our neighbors," said Secret Santa, whose asked that his name be withheld, "particularly during the holiday season."
