MAHWAH, N.J. -- Allison Moonitz, Mahwah Library's assistant director, was selected as the new director of the Bergenfield Library.

Moonitz usually can be found at the reference desk, working one-on-one to answer eBook questions and leading the children's room during the summer.

She also brought the same talent, energy and dedication to many behind-the-scenes activities.

In the past five years, she worked closely with the community, library staff and stakeholders to execute the library's current strategic plan and make numerous improvements to how it operates.
