Trattou, who was raised in Ramsey, turns 27 on Friday.
Trattou, a defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings, was born Aug. 28, 1988, in Maywood. He lived in Franklin Lakes and Ramsey, and attended Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey and was chosen for all-state during his junior and senior years.
He played college football for the University of Florida and was signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played in six regular-season games as a rookie. He was waived on Aug. 16, 2012. The Minnesota Vikings signed him on Oct. 9, 2013.
