The senior women knit soft, vibrant blankets, shawls, scarves and hats in colors that often align with the holidays or the likes of Ramsey High School, The Record reported.

Crafty Sisters knitted more than 60 afghans in the last quarter of 2015 for area hospitals, Ramsey Responds, Greater Ramsey Unico, the Women's Club and the Board of Education, The Record said.

The group formed 16 years ago at the Knights of Columbus with a handful of members, including current member Rose Bush, The Record reported.
