Charity Work Earns Teen Scholarship From Ramsey ShopRite, Dove

RAMSEY, N.J. -- ShopRite of Ramsey and Unilever recently recognized Lauren Giella for her charity work, awarding her a $4,000 scholarship.

Giella has raised more than $45,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In partnership with ShopRite, Unilever sponsors the Dove Right On, Girls scholarship contest to recognize inspirational young women who are committed to helping others.

The nominating portion of the contest ran from September through December. The nominated young women ranged in age from 13 to 19. A total of 11 winners from Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania were selected, and several are being recognized now at their local ShopRite stores.
