Want A Release Party For New Harry Potter Book? Let Mahwah Library Know

MAHWAH, N.J. -- "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" will be released on July 31, the Mahwah Public Library is trying to gauge interest in a "Midnight Book Release Party."

The book "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is a special-edition script of the play by the same name, which will open on June 30, a day before the book is released.

"You'd have a chance to pre-order a copy of the book, and there would be fun games and other prizes at the party," the library noted in a Monday Facebook page. The party might potentially be from 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, to 12:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Teens and tweens who think they might be interested in the party can show their support by stopping by the Teen Department or calling 201-529-7323, ext. 224.
