Oakland Businesses Distibute Toys For Tots This Weekend

OAKLAND, N.J. -- Dozens of local businesses have partered with the Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" toy donation drive, and will present the gifts to children this upcoming Saturday.

Last year Community of Commerce members collected hundreds of toys in support of the Toys for Tots Campaign and this year’s need is just as great, according to a press release. 

For the past month, Oakland businesses, including RE/MAX Agent Thomas 'Chopper' Russo, have placed decorated boxes in their offices and served as an official toy donation center.

The presents will be collected on Saturday Dec. 11 between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. when the Toys for Tots train rolls into town.
