The event is rain or shine. Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. The run begins at 9 a.m. and the walk starts at 10:15 a.m.
An awards ceremony is at 11 a.m., followed by schoolhouse tours at 12 p.m.
The 5K course starts at Trail Conference Headquarters at the newly restored Darlington Schoolhouse. The relatively flat 3.1-mile course features the scenic Ramapo Reservation and River, the Hunt & Polo Club neighborhood, and Ramapo College's historic Havemeyer House.
The course follows a combination of paved roads, wide wooded roads, and maintained grass and dirt trails.
Walk course starts at the schoolhouse, and the flat 1.8-mile course follows a scenic tour along the Ramapo River and Scarlet Oak Pond in the Ramapo Reservation. The route follows a mix of roads and maintained trails before returning to the Darlington Schoolhouse.
Both courses finish back at the Darlington Schoolhouse, with food, an awards ceremony, and free tours.
Race fee is $32; walk fee is $15.
Parking is available in Ramapo College Parking Lot D-3; follow signs to the Registration Zone. No dogs permitted.
