Mahwah Hazardous Waste Collection In September

MAHWAH, N.J. -- The Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) will collect household hazardous waste in Mahwah Saturday, Sept. 12 at Campgaw Mountain Reservation, 200 Campgaw Road.

The Bergen County Utilities Authority will collect household hazardous waste at Campgaw Mountain Reservation in Mahwah Saturday, Sept. 12 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., 200 Campgaw Rd.  Bring all your nasty stuff down for safe disposal.

From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. you can bring hazardous items that require special handling, and the BCUA will collect them free of charge for Bergen County residents, who will have to show identification. Businesses may also dispose of waste, but must pre-register by calling (201) 807-8696.

The collection site is open rain or shine, and closes promptly at 3 p.m.
