AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassadors, Mevo Have Massive Mahwah Clean-Up

MAHWAH, N.J. -- Volunteers are needed for a spring cleanup in Mahwah on Sunday with the AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassadors.

The March 20 cleanup takes place at 189 Stag Hill Road from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. People can volunteer for all or part of the time. Wear comfortable work boots and bring plenty of water. Gloves and work tools can be provided. 

Tires, recyclables and other trash will be removed from illegal dumping sites around Stag Hill. 

The cleanup is being done in partnership with MEVO (Mahwah Environmental Volunteers Organization), Montclair State University and William Paterson University Campus Activities. All are welcome.
