A Garfield teen was given more than 20 theft charges after he was found carrying stolen mail in Wall Township, authorities said. The 16-year-old boy was arrested near Industrial Road, the Wall Township Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The arrest came as officers have increased patrols in response to rising criminal activity, particularly mail theft, in parts of Wall. Teen Burn Victim Airlifted After Sussex County Cooking Accident, State Police Say (

A teen was flown to a nearby hospital after suffering burns while cooking in Sussex County, state police said. Troopers responded to a home on Beemer Church Road and found that the teen’s shirt had caught on fire while cooking around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 21, NJSP Sgt. Philip Curry told DailyVoice.com. Teen Struck By Minivan After Running Into Morris County Road: Police
A teen who ran into a Morris County roadway was struck by a minivan, authorities said. The teen — whose identity was not released — was standing on the southbound side of Speedwell Avenue near Glenbrook Road when he ran into the roadway without using a crosswalk and was struck by a northbound Honda Odyssey around 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, Morris Plains Police Chief Michael Koroski said in a Monday release.
