A real estate agent accused of killing her dad and his girlfriend on the Jersey Shore was hit with new charges upon her extradition from Pennsylvania, authorities said. A 55-year-old Pennsylvania woman was arrested on accusations she stabbed her Jersey Shore dad and his girlfriend dead, authorities announced. Sherry Lee Heffernan, of Landenberg, is accused of killing John Enders, 87, of Surf City, and Francoise Pitoy, 75, of Manchester, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Surf City Police Chief John N. Casella, Jr. said. Surf City police found the bodies of Enders and Pitoy on Oct. 3 around 4 p.m., at a North 7th Street home while conducting a welfare check, police said. This is a developing story. Body Recovered In Surf City Was Woman Reported Missing Moments Earlier, Police Say
The body of a woman whose family reported her missing was recovered from the water in Surf City Sunday night, authorities said. The woman's family called police to report she had gone missing around 9 p.m., adding that they believed she may be at the beachfront, NJ.com reports. Officer Sean Raimondi was checking the beach when he saw footprints in the sand heading eastbound, leading to the water, the outlet said. Crews discovered the woman's body in the surf soon after near North 14th Street, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

Swimming Advisories Effected At 3 NJ Beaches Where High Bacteria Levels Found
A swimming advisory was issued Tuesday for three New Jersey beaches where elevated levels of meningitis-causing bacteria was found. Enterococci turned up in water samples from Trenton Avenue Ocean Beach in Lavallette, 5th Avenue Bay Beach in Seaside Park, and 16th Street Bay Beach in Surf City. The bacteria can cause urinary tract infections, bacterial endocarditis and more. Swimming advisories are effected when samples exceed 104 colony forming units (cfu) of enterococci.
