Summer Fun: State Fair Meadowlands Returns
Racing pigs. Water gun races. A magician. It's about to be state fair season in North Jersey. The State Fair Meadowlands is returning for another year, kicking off June 22 and running through July 9. This year, the fair is offering attractions like Pirates of the Colombian Caribbean, Cycle Circus, racing pigs and a magician. A petting zoo will be on the grounds, allowing guests to interact with ponies, llamas, donkeys and patrons will be able to shoot basketball free throws and take part in water gun races. : New Jersey Denies Plans For 2020 State Fair Meadowlands
The 2020 State Fair Meadowlands has been cancelled. New Jersey's largest, annual fair had initially been set to run July 23 through Aug. 9 at MetLife Stadium. But according to a Facebook, state officials denied this year's plans. Earlier this month, Gov. Phil Murphy set a 500-person limit on all outdoor events, ordering all guests stay six feet apart.
