New Milford Home Damaged By Runaway SUV
A driver escaped injury when her SUV slammed into a house in a quiet New Milford neighborhood on Thursday, police said. The 65-year-old motorist apparently lost control of the 2020 Acura RDX while backing up on Webster Drive just off Batterson Court around 9:30 a.m. Jan. 11, Police Chief Brian Clancy said. New Milford police and firefighters quickly came to the rescue of two drivers involved in a Tuesday crash that knocked an SUV onto its side, trapping one of them. A 66-year-old Moonachie woman driving a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder blew a stop sign at Hoffman Avenue and Boulevard and struck a 2022 Hyundai Tucson driven by a 63-year-old man from town around noontime Sept. 5, New MIlford Police Chief Brian Clancy said. Firefighters Rescue Victim In River Edge Rollover Crash
Firefighters extricated a victim in a crash Sunday afternoon in River Edge. An SUV landed on its side in a collision with a minivan at the corner of rainy Bogert Road and Voorhis Avenue, a block west of Kinderkamack Road, before 3:30 p.m. River Edge and Oradell firefighters responded, along with borough police. Paramus House Fire Doused
Firefighters doused a Paramus house blaze on Tuesday. The smoky fire apparently broke out in an attached garage and extended into the attic of the Behnke Avenue home shortly after 11 a.m. Firefighters had the bulk of the two-alarm blaze knocked down within 45 minutes. : Pink Heals Rallies First Responders For Special Waldwick, Cliffside Park Boys
Two special young boys will be treated to a parade of first responders this Sunday in Waldwick, thanks to Pink Heals of Bergen County. Both Cole McKeon of Waldwick and Austin “AJ” Katchen of Cliffside Park were diagnosed months apart last year with Stage 4 neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that attacks certain types of nerve tissue. Before his first birthday, AJ had successful tumor resection surgery, the first of several operations. He’s also undergone chemotherapy that kept him hospitalized several months.
