The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene north near Essex Street in Lodi at approximately 1:42 p.m., according to Jeff Angermeyer, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office's deputy chief of detectives. Contractor Hospitalized In 12-Foot Fall From Roof In Ridgewood
A 30-year-old contractor was hospitalized after falling from the roof of a Ridgewood home Monday morning, Jan. 27, police said. The incident happened at 444 East Gate, where the contractor fell 12 feet sometime around 11 a.m. Incident reporter Boyd A. Loving says the incident happened in the rear of the home when the worker fell from scaffolding. Ridgewood Police Capt. Glenn Ender says the worker was transported to Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Multiple shoplifters are at large after stealing items from a Lululemon in Hoboken on eight different incidents this year, authorities said.
