Judge Frees Soccer Player From Poland Charged With Viciously Beating Wallington Bar Patron A soccer player from Poland pummeled a man with his fists and feet outside a Wallington bar, sending the victim to the hospital with four broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a facial fracture, authorities said. Detectives who reviewed surveillance video identified the assailant as Oskar Potoczny, a 21-year-old Polish national who apparently quit playing football in his homeland last year. They arrested Potoczny on aggravated assault charges only to have a Superior Court judge in Hackensack release him the very next day.
