Former Hunterdon County Undersheriff Dies Weeks After Being Struck By Pickup Truck
A former Hunterdon County undersheriff has died weeks after he was struck by a pickup truck. Michael J. Russo, 67, a current resident of Wildwood, FL, died on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Morristown Medical Center, according to Hackettstown police. Russo served as undersheriff in Hunterdon County from 1990-94 for Sheriff James Marino and 2008-10 for Sheriff Deborah Trout. The crash happened at 4:47 p.m. on the access road near Wendy’s at 219 Mountain Ave, police said. Transformer Catches Fire, Causes Power Outages As Truck Strikes Utility Pole In Warren County
A transformer caught fire and caused numerous Warren County residents to lose fire as a truck slammed into a utility pole, authorities said. The truck crashed into a utility pole on Route 31 South in White Township on the morning of Friday, August 12, according to the Mountain Lake Fire Company. Warren Man Who Sexually Abused Child, 6, Gets Nearly 13 Years In Prison Before Possible Parole
A 31-year-old Warren County man convicted of sexually assaulting a child must serve nearly 13 years in state prison before he'll be eligible for parole after being sentenced this week. Justin D. Williams, of Oxford Township, digitally penetrated the victim over five years between June 2008 and June 2013 in Washington Borough and Washington Township, Warren County Prosecutor James L.
